Istanbul Archaeology Museums Stairwell

Stairwell leading up to a relief of Medusa, guarded by two lions, on display in the main building of the Istanbul Archaeology Museums. The Istanbul Archaeology Museums, housed in three buildings in what was originally the gardens of the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey, holds over 1 million artifacts relating to Islamic art, historical archeology of the Middle East and Europe (as well as Turkey), and a building devoted to the ancient orient.
