Vieng Xai Pathet Lao Caves

An air filter in an emergency room in one of the caves at the Pathet Lao Caves of Vieng Xai in Houaphanh Province in northeastern Laos. It was in these natural caves deep in karsts that the Pathet Lao leadership avoided constant American bombing raids during the Vietnam War. NB: Image contains low-light image noise.
