Tiger Cages at the War Remnants Museum

The War Remnants Museum in downtown Ho Chi Minh includes a replica of a section of a South Vietnamese jail. This shot shows some of the small, barbed wire cages known as Tiger Cages, used for punishment in colonial prisons. The cage in front was designed to hold 2-3 people lying on the ground. The one in the back was designed to 5-7 people.
