Predawn Glow at Washington Monument

The sun below the horizon casts a predawn glow behind the base of the Washington Monument. Looking down the Reflecting Pool from the Lincoln Memorial. This shot was taken during the fall equinox, when the sun rises directly to the east and therefore lines up with the National Mall.
