British Museum
The distinctive Great Court at the British Museum in London. Designed by Foster and Partners, its formal name is the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court. It converted the Museum's inner courtyard into the largest covered public square in Europe. It encloses two acres, with the round reading room in the center. The British Museum in downtown London us dedicated to human history and culture and has about 8 million works in its permanent collection.
