Opened to visitors in October 2014 and housed in a distinctive building designed by famous architect Frank Gehry, the Biomuseo focused on the biodiversity of Panama and the special role the Panamanian isthmus has played as a land bridge between North and South America. It is located on Panama City's Causeway, with views out over the Pacific on one side and the entrance ot the Panama Canal on the other.
