Boats and bridge in Nong Khiaw, Laos

Wooden boats are tied up to bamboo poles on the sandy banks of the Nam Ou (River Ou) in Nong Khiaw in nothern Laos. In the center of frame is the high bridge spanning the river. Behind that are buildings on the waterfront. Mists shroud the steep, rocky karsts and cliffs in the surrounding terrain.
