Pipe organ pipes in a French Cathedral
Detail of the pipe organ in Eglise St Lazare in Avallon in the French region of Burgundy (Bourgogne). The church dates from the twelfth century. The two western portals of the church are adorned with sculpture in the ornate Romanesque style; the tower on the left of the facade was rebuilt in the seventeenth century.
