BAGAN, Myanmar (Burma) - Some locals watch the sunset from the waterfront of a pagoda in Bagan, Myanmar. The Ayeyarwaddy River (or Irrawaddy River) is the largest river in Myanmar. Running from north to south through the country it serves as a major transportation waterway and an important commercial path.
