Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC Main Foyer

Elavated view of the main foyer inside the entrance at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall in Washington DC. The lunar module at the bottom of the frame is the original Apollo XI re-entry vehicle, while the orange plane at top left was Chuck Yeager's Bell X-1 aircraft in which he broke the sound barrier for the first time in level flight. The Air and Space Museum, which focuses on the hsitory of aviation and space exploration, is one of the most visited museums in the world.
