B&O Railroad Museum Baltimore
The Mt. Clare Roundhouse was the largest passenger car shop and circular industrial building in the world at the time it was completed in 1884. It was designed by architect Ephraim Francis Baldwin to accommodate the longest passenger cars of the day and to utilize as much natural light as possible. The B&O Railroad Museum in Mount Clare in Baltimore, Maryland, has the largest collection of 19th-century locomotives in the United States.
