Istanbul Archaeology Museums Statue of Dionysis
Statuette of Dionysos, thought to date to the 2nd or 3rd century AD, on display in the main building of the Istanbul Archaeology Museums. The Istanbul Archaeology Museums, housed in three buildings in what was originally the gardens of the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey, holds over 1 million artifacts relating to Islamic art, historical archeology of the Middle East and Europe (as well as Turkey), and a building devoted to the ancient orient.
